First launched in Wrexham in 2023, ReachDeck is an embedded, online tool which enables users to digest Wrexham Council’s website content and news according to their personal preferences and needs.
The tool gives users the opportunity to translate online content into a language of their choice and listen to content in audio format which can be used on most compatible, modern devices.
To use the tool, just click on the small dark blue in the top right-hand corner of your screen when you next visit the council website or news blog.
Councillor John Pritchard, Lead Member for Corporate and Customer Services said: “The convenience, inclusivity, and user friendliness of ReachDeck has been a positive addition to the online offerings of Wrexham Council over the past three years.
“It is widely used and appreciated by the public who engage with our online content in different formats and alternative languages. It also helps reduce digital inequality in the area, which should be celebrated.
“I would encourage anyone who feels they would benefit from ReachDeck to give it a go – just look for the small, dark blue circle in the top right-hand corner of your screen when you next visit the council website or news blog.”
