Ers mis Medi, mae adran etholiadau Cyngor Wrecsam wedi bod yn cynnal y cynfas blynyddol i sicrhau bod holl breswylwyr y Fwrdeistref Sirol sy’n gallu pleidleisio, wedi cofrestru.
Mae’r gwaith bron â dod i ben, felly beth nesaf?
A ninnau bellach yn gwybod pwy sy’n gymwys i bleidleisio, rydym yn symud ymlaen i’r ail gam. Mae hyn yn golygu, os yw’r gwaith canfasio yn dangos bod pobl ar eich aelwyd sydd heb gofrestru, bydd Gwahoddiad i Gofrestru yn cael ei anfon atoch. Trwy lenwi’r ffurflen hon, mae’n golygu y byddwch chi’n gallu pleidleisio pan ddaw hi’n amser etholiadau.
Os byddwch yn derbyn Gwahoddiad i Gofrestru un ai trwy’r post neu e-bost , peidiwch â’i anwybyddu…mae cymryd rhan mewn democratiaeth yn golygu defnyddio eich pleidlais, ond er mwyn gallu gwneud hynny, mae’n rhaid i chi gofrestru. Gallwch hefyd gofrestru ar-lein: gov.uk/cofrestru-i-bleidleisio. Bydd angen eich Rhif Yswiriant Gwladol arnoch a dim ond 5 munud y bydd yn ei gymryd i gofrestru. Fe fydd yn hyn yn arbed arian i’r Cyngor ar gostau argraffu a phostio.
Since September, Wrexham Council’s electoral department has been carrying out the annual canvass to make sure that all residents of the county borough who are able to vote, have registered.
This work is nearly complete, so what comes next?
Now we know who is eligible to vote, we move on to the second stage. This means that if the canvass showed there are people in your household who aren’t registered you will be sent an application/Invitation to Register. Completing this form will mean that you are able to vote when election time comes around.
If you receive a request, either by email or a paper form, please don’t ignore it…being involved in democracy means using your vote, but to be able to do that you must be registered. You can also register online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote. It only takes about 5 minutes and you will need your national insurance number. This will save the council money on printing and postage costs.
